Wildlife Services (WS) Program

The term 'Wildlife Services (WS) Program ' as it applies to the area of agriculture can be defined as ' An Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service program to protect agriculture, natural resources, property, public health, and endangered species from unwanted and potentially harmful effects of wildlife species, including predators. WS also works to prevent wildlife/airplane collisions at civilian and military airports. The program was called the Animal Damage Control Program until August 1997'.
